Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on March 06, 2024We only spent one night but easy on/off the freeway. Good power and water & WiFi. Sports complex next door so if it happens to be time for a little league game, and the park was full of kids, it can be a bit noisy. Seemed to be uncontrolled by staff well after quiet time. But we would stay here again if passing through because of it's location.

Looking for a quick way to pass through the city by the highway, this was it. In fact, so close to the highway that we still got quite a bit of noise, but nothing too bad.
It was easy to get into the park and into our pull thru concrete site, so all good things.
We were surprised at free breakfast in the morning (just basic foods) which was great and the kids enjoyed it.
The place had concrete sites but was a bit muddy otherwise. I know they cannot control the weather and actually did a good job cleaning up the sites after people left, but the playground was also fairly muddy.
Good laundry also.

Easy after hours registration. They had the available sites paper clipped to the board. Fill out the envelope and away we went to park. The power hook ups were fine and level pads easy to pull in.
I did find it was a bit expensive since we were just pulling in for one night and were out before they opened.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting relatives in the area. It was very convenient, right off I-10. The sites are pretty close together and there is zero privacy, but since we were not at the RV park most of the time as we were visiting people, it didn't matter so much. Check in was easy and friendly. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all worked well there. My only complaint is the "kid tax". They charged $4 for one of our kids and $6 for the other one (he is 14 and for some reason they consider that an adult?) I thought that was pretty excessive considering we weren't even at the park most of the time. At least they accept Passport America which helped with the cost. Rate above reflects the PA discount.

Normal rate was $45 but we received a 10% discount for military. We stayed here March 2019. The campground was mostly paved with a little grass between the campsites. Unfortunately, though, with all the rain and vehicles with trailers or their lack of experience pulling into these sites, many of them had wheel ruts that were muddy/mucky.
The campground reception was friendly. They had two bikes to "check out" and enjoy around the campground. They also had a heated pool, exercise room, showers, laundry, and what we thought was awesome, a FREE breakfast! Yes, free!
A dog run in the back worked well for our two dogs, but it was a bit muddy/mucky getting in to that as well. Consider bringing mud boots if you stay when rain is expected. This campground has 125 sites; it appears many of them are full-timers, possibly working in the area. Regardless, everyone was very friendly and the campground was very convenient to I-10!

This is a nice RV park close to I10. Our site (79) was long with plenty of room for our 5th wheel and truck. Paved site and very level. There is some train noise at night but nothing horrible. My only issue is being penalized for having our two kids with us. An additional $8 ($4 per kid) per night is excessive.

We booked this campground to escape the power issues plaguing most of Texas during the deep freeze in mid-February of 2021 (Beaumont is on a different power grid from most of Texas) and stayed a week before resuming our travel plans. Construction on I-10 prevented us from reaching the campground the usual way, but campground staff provided us with alternate directions when we booked.
All of the roads and site pads are concrete, and our site was fairly level. Except for the site pad, the site was covered with close-cut grass, and while not strictly muddy there were soft spots in the ground after a rain where your shoes could sink in and collect some mud.
In the first site we were assigned, our camper’s on-board surge protector complained that the voltage was too high. We asked for a different site and got one with no fuss. Later we found out that our surge protector was mis-reading the voltage, thinking it was higher than it actually was, but not by much: the 130V actually being put out by the power pole is higher than most campgrounds we’ve visited.
The park has plenty of grassy areas along the edge of the campgrounds to walk dogs, and there is a small fenced-in dog run in the back corner of the campground. The office has a small store with convenience store items and souvenirs. Next to the office is an outdoor pool and then another building with a recreation room and a series of individual bathrooms with shower stalls, opened with a card key you receive when you check in. The bathrooms looked clean and well-maintained.
In terms of cell service, the best speeds I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay were about 60Mbps down and 26 Mbps up, and those speeds were pretty consistent, resulting in nearly flawless video streaming. The one speed test I performed on my AT&T phone showed 32Mbps down and 8Mbps up. The campground offered WiFi but we never tried it.
We would stay here again if we needed a place to stay in the area.

Easy check in, didn't use any amenities such as restrooms or laundry. The pads are not real wide but long. We have a 43 ft motor home and easily fit with toad. We used our Passport America discount. Would stay here again.
