“Quiet romance in an unparallelled setting”
Quiet romance in an unparallelled setting, the Black Mountain Inn is tucked away on 3 secluded acres, one mile from town. Originally a stage coach stop, breifly a TB Sanatorium and in the 1940's a haven for some of America's most accomplished artists, including John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemingway, Norman Rockwell and many, many others. Restored in 1990 and reopened as the Black Mountain Inn, and we have been welcoming guests in a bed and breakfast style of accomodation, in this wonderful Historic Inn for decades and we welcome you too!
