“The British are Coming”

Old North Church (officially, Christ Church in the City of Boston), at 193 Salem Street, in the North End of Boston, is the location from which the famous "One if by land, and two if by sea" signal is said to have been sent. This phrase is related to Paul Revere's midnight ride, of April 18, 1775, which preceded the Battles of Lexington and Concord during the American Revolution.

Beautiful...preserved housing, historically Gorgeous...the visitor area..what a joke...don't count on them for anything...give you a book...oops I mean you have to buy a book...just to follow the red line already marked out for you...Salem had a much better and more defined tourist area..and much cleaner..you will be disgusted with the cigarette butts...gum..trash...

Didn’t get to go downstairs because there was only one person to staff the church but we made the best of it. The women did compile a binder and did give us some food info. She was super friendly too. Next time we’ll try to go downstairs.

You know what? It was a little disappointing, honestly. Old South was cooler to me. That being said, it's at least worth it to snap a shot of the steeple... is that a lantern I see hanging up there?
