“Mastering the art of the sandwich”
Cutty’s is a 16-seat sandwich shop in Brookline Village, Massachusetts that serves breakfast and lunch. Our food is handcrafted with great skill, care, and awesome ingredients. Meats are all-natural and roasted on-site. Eggs and dairy come from small, local farms. Our potato chips, salads, pickles, sauces, and sweets are made in-house. Our bread is delivered daily by Iggy’s Bread of the World. When the season comes around, we use native New England produce, much of it coming from nearby Allandale Farm. Owners Rachel and Charles Kelsey call on their training from the famed Culinary Institute of America and 35 years of combined cooking experience to create simple, artisanal food at fair prices. They met, fell in love, and got married while working at America’s Test Kitchen, where they were editors/test cooks for 5 years before opening Cutty’s.
Sandwiches are elevated to art-form status, as evidenced in creations like the Roast Beef 1000, piled high with slow-roasted beef, house Thousand Island dressing, fried shallots and sharp cheddar. On the first Sunday of the month, line up for their from-scratch rendition of a fast food fried chicken sandwich.
