I have been here a couple times and have had no issues. Sunday 06/29/2014 will be my last visit. 1.) The place is getting worn down and ghetto looking! I usually go in the evening so this time in the daylight hours was a revelation!! 2.) It smells mildew. 3.) The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting!!! 4.) Why would you have a garbage can next to the corner table in the back? We had flies all over our food on that hot day! It was quite an annoyance! Our server Chloe was nice, but took forever to come and see us when we first were seated and in between the meal. I mean 15-20 minutes is outrageous! She kept apologizing, but that got old really quick! I asked for extra sauce and spices on my Cajun Chicken Alfredo and ordered my Arnold Palmer virgin. Great. Chloe comes back and says there will be a charge on the extra sauce....wait for it.....$3.00! WOW, REALLY?! I said "No thank you". Our food comes and it tastes ok. I ordered the French Onion Soup with my entrée as it came with a soup or a salad. I ordered 4 refills as it was a hot day and we had just gotten done with the garden walk on Jewett Pkwy. When the bill came I saw that I was charged for 4 drinks (my refills) and for the extra spices! There was no notification of refills being charged or the spices as Chloe only stated $3.00 for the extra sauce. I called to complain because, of course, there was no manager on duty. The guy that picked up stated that he would take my info down and have a manager call me back (as I heard him speak to someone in the background, "this guy has a lot of complaints"....) Haven't heard anything in a week. Called back a couple days ago and asked to speak to a manager. Was transferred to a lady who said she was the "acting manager". I relayed my concerns once more and she said that there was no guarantee that someone would call me back or assist me in the matter as they are allowed to charge these prices. Um, ok that is not cool. I'm not asking for the whole meal to be paid for, maybe a voucher for half the meal or maybe a free appetizer? Is that too much to ask? My opinion matters and I let her know that I will tell all! So here you are....the decision is yours ultimately, but with the way the economy is going and the way they are doing business (high prices by the way) I will not be going back. Thumbs "DOWN".
