Most recent stay was 7/31/16 / 8/01/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area
Journey version ~ not your typical KOA [much better]. Off the interstate so it was quiet no road noise at all. 1 of the better KOA’s we’ve stayed at ~ we were directly across from restroom/shower/laundry building. Very impressed w/restroom-showers. Very clean and updated w/modern fixtures. Showers had rubber mats when you exit the stall & were in a separate private room w/small bench in changing-dressing area. Only CON was bench very narrow [small] becuz inside area of room too compact plus no hooks and shelves in shower and in communal sink area for your clothes-towels-& stuff all necessities that a camper needs
Campground itself very tidy, neat, and maintained. All roads and site pads have gravel, but no potholes and all level. Sites are wider/larger than most KOA’s we’ve stayed at w/good shade at most sites, plus some upgraded sites have cement patios w/BBQ grill and outdoor patio furniture easily accommodates the big rigs. Sparkling clean swimming pool, cabins for rent, separate tent area on the grass and under shade trees.
Stayed one night , quite place nice and clean bathroom and showers , sites too close together was my only complaint
Found this KOA while on our way to Montana. This is an excellent KOA with all of the usual amenities that are all kept in tip top condition. Owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. Be sure to stop by the office to get their local information and things to do sheet! Highly recommend you visit Crazy Woman Canyon. A wonderful half day trip along a crystal clear river through a beautiful canyon. Downtown historic Buffalo WY is a must do! Fun shopping and solid restaurants. This is old Wyoming at it's best without the crazy crowds. You will really enjoy thos KOA,

One of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at
Level sites, most with trees
Laundry, showers, restrooms are very clean and well kept (and open!)
A nice gift shop
Great location if you’re heading across I-90 or up I-25

Generally, when you stay at a KOA you get what you expect. This location is great as a stopover heading in any direction. We stayed 1 night on our way west and then 2 nights on our way back north and east. We are doing an extended timeframe working remote while camping trip, so this KOA fit both location and function. Clean, efficient laundry, sort of close to a nice walking trail along the creek (although you are in the slightly unsavory end of town), great cell service (for WY, 3 bars of LTE on verizon is LUXURY). Nice hosts. We made the decision to return based on our experience on our way west.

Stayed one night, had a tight schedule but would have stayed longer to take in local attractions (learned about them from a neighbor). Site was next to creek, trees and great hookups.

Wider sites than most, plenty of trees. Ridiculously efficient and helpful staff. KOA win.
Some road noise at night and a fair amount of ambient light, requiring us to close our blackout shades.

The KOA is in a good location and the nearby town is nice. It was too windy to use our big WeBoost, but the cell service on ATT and Verizon was good enough to work from.
Unfortunately there was loud construction with multiple dump trucks and other loud vehicles, complete with the loud back up beeping, all week, all day long. It was nearly impossible to work, even with all our windows shut. It also took away from any potential peaceful atmosphere. It was disappointing that management did not do anything to try to compensate for the loud noise. We even paid to upgrad to a better spot (before we know about the extent of the construction). Probably wouldn’t have bothered if we knew it would be so loud.

Sites are typical sizing but did have grass between sites. Used this campground for convenience of a 2 day stay to hike a couple of trails in the area. Campground hosts were friendly and responsive to any problems.
