“Fresh Beer and Local Food!”
Founded in 1989 the Cambridge Brewing Company is the oldest brewery-restaurant in the Boston area and one of the nations first. As pioneers of new American beer styles we offer our patrons a wide array of hand crafted original beers as well as our interpretation of classic world styles and experimental beers. Over the years our beers and our brewers have received numerous awards locally, nationally, and internationally. This adventuresome spirit plays out in our kitchen as well where the finest local ingredients are crafted into creative American cuisine. Paying particular attention to pairing food with beer our chefs prepare fresh seafood, meats and produce with an emphasis on bold flavors and interesting combinations. Our pride and enthusiasm are as evident in our Butter Brook Farms chicken, Block Island swordfish, and Pat’s Wellfleet littlenecks as they are in our burgers and pizzas! We serve this all up in a refurbished mill building where high ceilings, exposed brick, light woods and earthy colors combine for a casual, lively atmosphere. Our wait staff takes particular pride in their beer and food knowledge and are always happy to assist our guests in any way they can. Only blocks from MIT and in the heart of high-tech and bio-tech Kendall Square the Cambridge Brewing Company beckons to those in need of great food, great beer and fun times! During the warmer months we offer the finest outdoor patio seating in the Boston area. Enjoy all that we have to offer well removed from street traffic and surrounded by flowers and trees. By day, work on your tan in the sun or cool off in the shade of our awning. By night, enjoy cool breezes and candle light as well as our fine food, beer and service!
