Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on May 03, 2023Good place to stay. Facilities clean but above average price. Staff very helpful in getting to the best places in Bryce and for hiking. Downside was very poor wifi while you're out of 3G coverage area. Regular power outages are to be expected.
Stayed here one night in September 2019. About 15-20 minutes to Bryce Canyon NP entrance.
VERY clean bath house. WiFi worked fine. Had some views of the grey cliffs of the valley.
Site was gravel and required some leveling blocks. Staff was very active and helpful.
We left about 8:30 am the next morning so we could get a campsite in BCNP which is first come/first serve. Get there early to get a site.

We selected the KOA Cannonville for its proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park. This would be our first ever full hook up (with sewer) experience as newbie travel trailer owners.
This location is roughly 20 minutes from the Bryce Canyon entrance. It also is conveniently located to Kodachrome Basin State Park, which we also took advantage of visiting during our stay in the area.
Pulling into the KOA, we stopped first at the lobby area to check in. We were then escorted to our campsite. This was very helpful in navigating to the correct site and we appreciated the offer from the staff.
The paths for vehicles including the sites at this KOA are gravel. We drove slow for our travels in and out. We had a pull thru site which fit our 27 foot trailer well. The site had a picnic table and fire pit. We didn’t use the latter however as during our stay, the winds were fairly robust – too much so to enjoy behind outside for an extended period of time.
The main building at the front of the facility has a smallish store which offers a good variety of numerous camping supplies. There is also a modest selection of food products available. We frequented the store for milk to spill into our morning coffees and some of the 5% ABV Utah beer. The lobby area also offers numerous pamphlets with ideas for things to do in the area during your stay.
Behind the store area in the same building, are showers and bathrooms. I believe these showers are open 24x7. We used these showers nightly versus the shower in our RV (which has still to be used for the first time). The shower stalls are a bit tight, but this is a good option as an alternative for showers.
We did find the wifi connectivity barely usable. It seemed better in the early morning (perhaps when fewer people were vying for connectivity). By evening time, I would be barely able to access emails. Beyond that – websites, newspapers, etc., forget it.
Staff was courteous and helpful. Location was convenient to several things to do in the area. We enjoyed our stay.

Friendly service, not understaffed. Narrow gravel site, made picnic table unusable when slide was out. Very good Wifi, very poor Verizon service. Warned us upon arrival that the water would be off between 10 and 11 am the following day for repairs, but water was out for 20 hours. We requested to shorten our stay by one day, but they did not allow a refund. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing.

Office lady was very kind on the phone and in person. It was a little tough to maneuver our 37 foot fifth wheel in this campground, and I don’t think a 40 ft Class A could do it. The site was fairly level and gravel. We had a picnic table next to us and pretty views. No cell service which was probably the most frustrating thing, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t amazing. We were still able to stream movies, however. No issues with the electric, sewer, or power. Would stay again because of location, friendly staff, and great items at the store.

This is a beautiful campground centrally located between Bryce and Escalante parks. Perfect spot to explore both.
As full time travelers we depend on cell service for our jobs. The reviews say there are 2 bars of AT&T and 2 bars of Verizon. Unfortunately this isn’t accurate. AT&T no service. Verizon 1 bar LTE. We drove to Tropic and was able to get 3G AT&T.
We had a site by the main road and we were not bothered by the road noise. It’s was minimal.

Gorgeous location and we liked our site. Did need to use leveling blocks but couldn’t get level even with the blocks. Still worth it. Super quiet away from the road and we were very impressed with how clean the bathroom and shower areas were. Only annoyance was having to pay $15 a night for our third dog (we have three well behaved Pomeranians). 43 dollars without extra dog charge. We liked it so much we opted to stay another night.

After staying here a couple days we got the local inside scoop. There is almost no cell service in Cannonville.
If this is important to you you should stay WEST of Tropic, UT. Closer to Hwy 63 and 12 the better.
The staff at this KOA was very kind and accommodating. I like it when parks escort you to your spot and they do that here. Site were ok, mostly level, some trees, some grass and clean. Good park if you don't need internet or cell. Great staff! Thank you!
Not the park's fault but we had some bad luck with neighbors on our stay. One couple left there dogs in their RV all day and they barked incessantly, especially when we were outside in our area. Another group brought 8 small children with them and let them do anything they wanted. This included sitting in the middle of the road screaming at each other and chanting. Not cool at all.

We stayed here to visit Bryce NP. There is no cell service, but their WiFi was secure and worked. Our site was not
level. There’s some highway noise but overall I was happy with this park.
