It was like stepping back in time. The design and the artwork of the house were very cool. The tour is about an hour long. Photos can be taken, however, flash is prohibited. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, however, a bit soft spoken. Was hard to hear at times. Apparently, the house is haunted. I did not have a haunting experience, however, my boyfriend claims he felt the temperature drop in certain rooms and even heard a child's laughter even though there were no children in our tour group. Overall, it was an enjoyable tour, and it was very interesting to get a glimpse of how people lived in Cape May in the late 1800s. If you are a junkie for haunted Victorian houses, it's definitely worth a visit!
