"Casual Diner Serves Fine Dining Food!" We were on a trip to the East coast from Ohio, and decided to stop at this lovely place after finding them on Tripadvisor. My husband and I like seafood, which is hard to find quality seafood outside of cities with direct ocean access. My father was also with us, but he doesn't like seafood. From the pics/reviews online, we knew there was a variety of items to choose from. The menu is huge! They give you plenty of food. We ordered the crab cakes meal as an appetizer, and it came with 3 sides (2 cottage cheese w/apple butter and chili! The apple butter is some of the best we've ever had, and the cottage cheese was also good. The chili was spicy, which we like, but if you don't like spicy, beware. We ordered sirloin steak with onion rings/broccoli/salad as my dad's meal. My husband and I split the broiled scallops dinner and the broiled crab stuffed orange roughy. I couldn't eat my mashed potatoes and gravy or my filling (stuffing) and gravy. The clam chowder soup was very yummy, and great for the cooler Fall weather! My husband had Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, and apple sauce. The lemonade was very good and tasted fresh. Everyone liked all of their food, there was nothing that we didn't like. It had a down to earth, casual diner feel, but the food ranged from homestyle to fine dining. The parking lot was packed on a Friday night, with hardly any spots open. It's a rather large restaurant, and we didn't have to wait in line at all. I felt the price was reasonable for what you got. The service was great! I would definitely recommend it if in the area.
