Stumbled into Guthrie's from Slugger's, which was the best decision I made that night. Located off the main Wrigleyville drag, Guthrie's is a proper neighborhood bar. You won't find TVs in Guthrie's, but you will find all the board games you could ever dream of. Just don't shout too loudly about the people cheating at Sorry over at the table next to you or comment to your friends that the couple playing checkers in the corner seem to be struggling against the impending disintegration of their relationship--apparently people don't appreciate that too much.
