“a family tradition 50 years in the making”
“I can’t believe it’s been fifty years. It has gone by in a blink.” Wilhelm Gottenbusch said these words about his 50th Anniversary for his Cincinnati bakeries. In 2013, Wilhelm now has 13 locations in the Greater Cincinnati area. He is now retired and his sons Gary and Greg have since taken the reigns. Wilhelm Gottenbusch, a German immigrant came to the United States after traveling around the world from Poland to Australia and on an international freighter. In 1963 Wilhelm opened his first bakery on Observatory Ave. in Hyde Park. In a one man shop with a bakery in the back he made a name for himself as he focused on the one thing that has made him as successful then as he is today, quality. Focusing on the quality of his products Wilhelm and his sons have expanded and grown over the last 50 years.
