Common Man Restaurant

Located in two historic textile mill buildings along the Sugar River in downtown Claremont, NH, the Common Man Inn has 35 comfortable rooms showcasing the brick walls and wooden beamed ceilings that are part of the original architecture. Antique furniture, oriental rugs and a large hearth flanked by bookcases grace the main lobby of the Monadnock Mill where the checkers table and jigsaw puzzle tempt visitors to linger in this inviting spot. Large sepia photographs hanging on walls throughout the inn give guests a glimpse into the bustling, vibrant industrial period in Claremont at the turn of the last century.
