“nestled in the North Georgia mountains”
We are having a beautiful summer here in the North Georgia mountains. While our days are warm and sunny, cool mornings and evenings make it perfect weather for camping. Our variety of old hardwood trees - red and white oak, maple, sweet gum, hickory and more provide both beauty and cool shade to our campground. Check out all there is to do and see in White County including Alpine Helen and the Sautee Nacoochee Valley. There is something for everyone - hiking trails, waterfalls, kayaking and canoeing, vineyards and tasting rooms, folk potters, gold panning, historical sites, artists and craftsman, great food, and our spectacular natural beauty is visible around every turn. We offer full hook-up sites for your travel trailer, motorhome or 5th wheel camper. Some of our RV sites are right on the fishing pond and all sites are shady. Many of our tent camping sites are on Jenny's Creek or the fishing pond. Tent sites are separated from the RV sites. We also have sites perfect for your pop-up camper. Interesting Fact: A Jenny is a female mule. Long ago, the mules used in the area's gold mining and timbering were kept along our creek. In time, it became known as Jenny's Creek. Thanks to all our wonderful camping guests. Hope to see you again soon.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on April 08, 2021My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. It's a quiet campground we had our popup in spot 29 and no one was around us, most of campers were around the pond. It's a good spot for more adult campers, no playground for the kids. That's OK for this trip since we were looking to relax. The bathroom is dated but clean and functional (nice hot water showers). Everyone was friendly. They are right off a busy road and people don't slow down so be careful getting in and out. There is noise from the road but I was able to sleep without any problems. They are ideal for those looking to explore the area. Overall we enjoyed it!.
We enjoyed our stay here, right along Jenny's Creek. This extended family of 2 generations has only owned this place since last May, and we could already see many improvements and many planned ones. They are friendly, hard-working folks and we wish them well with this lovely campground. It is close to Dahlonega, Helen and 2 gold panning businesses. Well worth the stay.

Our first trip to Jenny’s Creek Family Campground. And absolutely love the layed back atmosphere. Great place to relax. Yes there’s some traffic noise but the sound of the frogs and church bugs are more enjoyable and you don’t pay attention to traffic noise. Wonderful camp host Family.
Many improvements have been made. Can’t wait to come back later in the fall.

I can't say enough good things about this campground. The owner/manager & their family are some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Level campsites with picnic table and fire ring. 30 and 15 amp electric service. Wi-Fi is better than my service at home & is compatible with smart TV's. Clean, modern, and climate controlled bathhouse. Fishing pond and small creek are an added bonus. Some tent sites are along the creek. There's a nice game room and a playground for the kids. Laundry is on site. Everything you need is right here. I highly recommend this campground!!!

We stayed at Jenny's creek campground for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. It's located in Cleveland and close to Helen and Dahlonega. Our site was right on the pond with full hookups. It was cold so we had a fire each night. The owners were nice and check-in and out was a breeze.

We would say 3.5 stars if it was an option.
Staff is super friendly and was accommodating to us needing to change our reservations dates around.
The park itself has potential but just looks/feels like it needs work. Maybe it’s because it’s early spring and by summer when the trees are all filled with leaves it looks better? But you’re pretty much in a little hollow next to the highway. There are a handful of sites that back up to the creek which may be better, although the majority of creekside sites are for tent campers.
The entrance to the park is tricky with a steep slope and an abrupt unlevel shift from paved to gravel. The roads through the park are tight are narrow and are not one way traffic even though only one car fits through at a time.
The dump station is located on a slope and was in a place that we had to circle the whole park to get to it and then circle again to leave. They do offer a honey wagon service though which is a great way to accommodate these difficulties.
Despite being right next to the road you don’t really hear the road noise.
Nick complimented the men’s restrooms stating they were clean and looked updated. The women’s restrooms and showers never seemed to be clean and it seemed the same hair clumps were in the shower even days later.
The park has a clubhouse and arcade and activities and there seemed to always be a group of kids running around enjoying them. The creek could also be a great spot to play as well.
The park WiFi was usable but probably not strong enough for streaming. Our AT&T service was decent with our booster even though it usually showed only 1 bar.
The park is in an excellent location with proximity to lots of great hikes and parks in the area as well as really close to the town of Helen. We would stay again because it’s a good base of exploration but it’s not a destination park to just hang out at all day in our opinion.

Everything Vicarious stated in their review still holds true today. The roads in the parks are in very bad shape. They need to fix this. It looks like the rain washes out the roads. This makes big ruts that you need to avoid trying to navigate uphill climb leaving your site. There are two ways to enter and exit and it's not specified which one is what. Wouldn't be a problem but they are basically one way roads. It's pretty sketchy with my 32ft fifth wheel. The dump station is aggravating too. It's raised 6inch in a cement block. I have to lift my sewage tote on top of it to dump.
You want to tent camp or rent a yurt these aren't your problems. Small trailer you're good to. You're a heavy rig it's not great.
Bathrooms were cleaned frequently but some guests were dirty people leaving the place a mess. The men's showers are being held together by caulk.
Wifi worked great.
