“Creating new theater for Pikes Peak!”
Early last year, founders Jim Jackson and Birgitta De Pree announced their theater was moving from its old location on Pecan Street into the Ivywild neighborhood. By October, they’d succeeded in transforming their new home, a former church bordered on one side by Ivywild School and The Blue Star on the other, into a beautiful new theater with cozy stadium seating and the most intricately decorated bathrooms around. Seriously, go to a show and make sure you at least peek inside the bathrooms — a lot of hard work went into them. The new space allows Millibo to continue its mostly original programming that includes circus, dance and multimedia performances.
