“Escape to a Restored Victorian with Warmth & Hopsitality”
Located just one block from historic downtown Columbus guests love our convenient location. A Painted Lady of Columbus invites you to stay in our beautifully restored Queen Anne home which dates to 1890. When you enter the doors of this magnificent home you will feel like you have stepped back in time to the Victorian era. The home is furnished with antiques of the era; velvet curtains, period wallpapers, clawfoot bathtubs, pillowtop matresses, Egyptian cotton sheets and luxurious toiletries Upon arrival our guests are treated to "high tea" which they can retire to our formal parlour and listen to the player piano or to the intimate courtyard and sit in antique rockers. An elegant breakfast served by candlelight is a Hallmark at The painted lady. Come and see for yourself why visitors have called the hospitality they experienced during their stay "The Spirit of Mississippi"
