The Louis Armstrong House Museum, a National Historic Landmark and a New York City landmark, is a member of the American Association of Museums, the Association of African American Museums, NYC & Company, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Metropolitan Historic Structures Association; and is a constituent of the Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College. The historic site is owned by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and administered by Queens College under a long-term license agreement.
