“Site of the original Salem Witch Trial”
The meetinghouse is only a reconstruction of the building where the Salem Witch Trials took place. The memorial and recreation is located right across the street from the original spot where the 1692 hysteria began. The memorial was erected in 1992 and has become a wonderful stop on a weird weekend in Danvers.
It's located on the same property as the Rebecca Nurse homestead, and only open Friday through Sunday.
