“In the mountains”
Front desk hours of operation are 8 AM - 8 PM. Amid millions of acres of pristine wilderness, this first class Montana ranch offers a spectacular vacation hideaway. Activities include trail riding, wilderness hiking, world class fly fishing, fly casting lessons, white water rafting, and ATV rides. Fly fishing is rewarding on the Bitterroot, Selway, Salmon, and Big Hole Rivers or the many nearby alpine lakes. For a slower pace, relax on your cabins front porch and view wildlife or visit the hot springs. Our luxury hand-hewn log cabins are nestled in a beautiful natural setting and offer excellent privacy. Cabins are generously distanced from each other by 100 yards or more. Each luxury log cabin has a river rock fireplace, modern kitchen, laundry facility, and a private outdoor hot tub. Rye Creek Lodge is located at the southern end of the scenic Bitterroot Valley in western Montana. Rye Creek meanders through 120 acres, providing over a mile of prime habitat for moose, elk, and deer. Several ponds create an oasis in the high country of Montana. Granite outcroppings, large ponderosa and numerous aspen provide close-up views while Trapper Peak looms overhead. The Bitterroot Valley on the western Montana - Idaho border is a place of serenity, natural beauty and wonder in all four seasons. In spring, the meadows come to life with wildflowers and the air is fresh with new beginnings. In summer, the sun-filled days are perfect for fly fishing, horseback riding, scenic float trips, hiking, and cycling. The Bitterroot Mountains, in the fall, are a dazzling sight with bright blue skies and quaking aspen shimmering in the sun followed by crisp, cool evenings. Our mild winters are exhilarating with the beautiful sight of fresh powder mornings, the breathtaking view of the Bitterroot Range panoramas and the thrill of Alpine and Nordic skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing through unspoiled snow-covered wilderness.
The single best stop on our trip out west every year. Absolutely beautiful location with the nicest and cleanest cabins. The outdoor hot tub is always great after a long days ride. Mike and his brother are first class and the most accommodating hosts!
