“Beer that Makes People Hoppy”
Nestled in downtown Davenport in what was originally called the Bucktown area in the 1920’s, Front Street Brewery radiates the charm that only history can impart. Front Street’s warm interior is highlighted by burnished wood and exposed brick walls. The main brewery and restaurant, both more than 100 years old are separated by a quaint brick beer garden. Front Street Brewery, the oldest brew pub in the state of Iowa, is nestled beautifully along the bank of the Mighty Mississippi. It has served the fine community of Davenport, Iowa for over 18 years. Front Street Brewery, founded in 1992, was once home to a vegetable warehouse, car repair garage, printing company and beer warehouse. It’s where Davenport and thousands of visitors from other cities come for great times, great food and fabulous brews made right on the premises in Front Street’s Brewery.

Couldn't rate this from the site but 4stars
A great neighborhood to stop in. Bar had friendly staff eager to share their offerings
Perhaps the worst service we have ever had, so much so we were tempted to ask if it was racial. We waited over an hour between our salads and entrees and then our orders were incorrect. I requested lemon wedges (for my salad) multiple times but they never arrived. The steaks were unimpressive. The sides we ordered had to be requested a second time. The Brussels sprouts were good. The busboy apologized for our wait but otherwise it was unmentioned.
