The gallery offers extensive selections in a full range of craft media, bringing art to articles of everyday life. An exhibit space features individual artists in shows lasting two months, a full circle of show that changes every two months. Established in 1990 in the middle of downtown East Lansing, as a commitment to the need to maintain the vitality of our urban centers, Mackerel Sky Gallery of Contemporary Craft has been voted one of the Top 100 Craft Galleries in the country for the past 11 years.
