Pull through sites are furthest from train so we hardly heard it. Dinner buffet at red lion casino $20 had good quality food but the dessert could have been much better. Highly recommend buffet and RV resort for an overnight stop.
Clean and quiet...nice green spaces with some semi mature trees. Sort of buried in a hotel row, near a small mall with shopping and some restaurants. Gravel pad, (we had to get blocks out to level our unit) with concrete pads for picnic table, width and angle setbacks were good. Wi-Fi seemed adequate.
Best RV park in the area. Make reservations as they only have a limited amount of sites that aren't full timers. There is a train not far away, but if you have the air conditioning on, that helps.
Super clean campground. Will definitely stay again.
Expect an early morning however, the train and trash truck is up early.
Clean, easy, flat & quiet except for the frequent trains - white noise machine took care of that :)
Nice clean RV park with full hook up and facilities. Only negative was the trains going past at night making some noise which might worry some trying to sleep early.
Our RV broke down headed east and we managed to limp in here. The staff was very caring and helped us find a fantastic mechanic. His name is Norm, owner of Action Mobile (775-397-0415). We had no issues having our 40’ Phaeton repaired on site.
The park is really well cared for! Everything is clean, good water pressure, good electricity.
Kathy & I only disliked the cell service issue. Yes, WIFI works well, and we used it off and on during our stay. It’s slow but present. Just don’t try to run your business using it. It won’t download a movie either...
If you’re hoping to find Cannabis (which is legal in Nevada) forget it. There is none nearby. We had to drive 3 hours one way south to Ely Nevada to buy some. It’s a long drive... Best to get some in Reno or Vegas.
Aside from that, this is a really groovy place! Nice and quiet except for the occasional train horn.

On our travels across Northern Nevada we stayed at this Campground one night. It is very clean! The campground is close to train tracks but, there is no Crossing and so there's no train whistle. All in all, a nice resort for the night. Because it's Northern Nevada it's pretty Barren but, they did have some nice mature trees for shade.
WiFi was good.

We've stayed here several times over the years while passing through Nevada on I-80. Iron Horse has always been there, welcoming and ready to accommodate us for the evening. The staff is friendly, the resort easy to navigate, the sites reasonably level and all the amenities we need are right there! There is a bit of train noise as the tracks are nearby but otherwise, the resort sits well below I-80 so there is no freeway noise. Easy access to and from the resort is a great bonus!

We stayed here for a night and overall had a great experience. This was our first time at a RV Park as we are new to the travel trailer game. We opted for the pull through spot for quick entrance and exit. The hot tub looked well maintained but we did not go in. It should be noted that our stay coincided with COVID so other amenities were not available. The main reason we gave 4 out of 5 stars was because the WiFi was only good enough for email and there was no view to speak of. Would stay again.
