Such a cool experience! We learned so much about Kangaroos! The guide seemed a little harsh and rough upon arrival. However, after being with him for a bit his personality was a little easier to read and we were grateful for his knowledge and for the experience.

$20 per person. Wallabys are sure cute, but could do without the host's boasting and misogynist commentary.

Such an amazing place! One of the highlights of our 2 week trip to the Pacific Northwest! You should call in advance and make reservations. It's only $15 a person for like an 1 & 1/2 hours interactive tour, well worth the money! We paid cash after the end of the tour, so not sure if they take other forms of payment. Our GPS was a little off, and the sign isn't very big, so you have to be looking for the numbers once you get on the road. After you find the sign, you turn down a long driveway and pass between two rows of trees. Then you will find the parking lot out back on the Washington countryside. The owner was so gracious to fit me and my husband in with a group that was already there, saving us some money from paying for a private tour. The owner was an excellent tour guide, and you could see the love he has for his animals. He greeted us and the other visitors in the parking lot. Then, he led us into a barn where we sat in comfortable chairs. He gave us some information about wallabies, and then we watched a short, but informative video about wallabies. He has worked with National Geographic to make a movie about wallabies.
He's also worked with an author in Australia I believe. He then brought a baby wallaby in a makeshift pouch, and brought him around the room for everyone to pet. He let him out on the floor to explore, and when it was time to go, the wallaby instinctively jumped in the makeshift pouch. We then were led outside into a fenced in area where we were able to feed some of the small/medium sized wallabies. They ate bread and leaves, provided to us by the owner. You could pet and interact with the wallabies. All were very gentle, and seemed well acquainted with humans. After that, we went into yet another fenced in area where the larger wallabies were. Here we took turns holding and hugging the wallabies. There were people of all ages and abilities there. One couple had a small child that the dad put on his shoulders, there was a group of younger college/career aged kids, and us. There was plenty of animals and time for all of us to interact with the animals. I am partially disabled, and the owner had brought a folding chair if I needed it to sit in the fenced in area so I could participate. Thankfully, I didn't need it, but it was so nice of him to have ready if needed. If you have mobility issues, you may want to discuss in advance with the owner your options for participation. Come here and you won't be disappointed!
If you are an animal lover, this place is for you!
