“advil & milkshakes!”
More than just a gimmick, this little pharmacy has stuff that you can't find at CVS- including malts, milkshakes, sodas, floats and more! You can also sit at the counter and have lunch- the menu is true to the tradition of soda fountains, serving sandwiches and simple diner classics. You can also pick up drugs here as well- it is a drug store, after all!
The shakes, ice cream sodas, and the egg creams are all great. The rest of the menu is basic, to say the least. But the best part is that this 50s diner doesn't feel like a tourist trap. No cutesy memorabilia on the walls, no cheesy bee-bop playing. It genuinely feels like nothing has changed since it opened all those decades ago.
Very neat setting! It’s the nation’s oldest continuously operating soda fountain (est 1831).
