Opened in May 1999, this little bistro was selected by the Zagat Survey (America's most prestigious restaurant guide) as One of the Top 15 Restaurants in the Houston Metropolitan Area and the Top "Eclectic-International" Category. Also voted by Galveston County residents as Best Overall Restaurant in Galveston County, Best Breakfast, Best Business Lunch, and number one in Friendliest Service. At Mosquito Café you'll find very fresh, homemade, eclectic, trendy food, a warm casual atmosphere, and friendly helpful service. Our guests upon perusing the menu and chalkboard specials place their order with the cashier, select a table of their choice, and sit back and relax. Our staff delivers the entrées, silverware, napkins, refreshes beverages, clears plates upon finishing, take dessert orders, and will fulfill any guest request. For your convenience, reservations for groups of 6 or more are accepted. Reservations guarantee a table set up to accommodate the group after the group has placed their order with the cashier.
