The Natural Science Center of Greensboro is one of the premiere family destinations in North Carolina offering three great attractions in one place: A hands-on Science Museum (featuring a Dinosaur Gallery, HealthQuest, Extreme Weather Gallery, Herpetarium and touch labs), Animal Discovery Zoological Park (featuring tigers, gibbons, wallabies, meerkats, lemurs and many other unique animals) and a state-of-the-art OmniSphere Dome Theater (featuring 3D and full-dome shows). In late spring 2013, the NSC will open central Carolina's first “SciQuarium” (featuring live sharks, penguins, fishing cats, stingrays and fish) making the Natural Science Center the only state attraction to offer a science museum, zoo, a high-tech planetarium and world-class aquarium all in one destination.

A great spot for the kids and adults. Unlike most science centers this place doesn't focus on physics and technology. Exhibits are wonderfully kid friendly and interactive! Inexpensive to boot! We will be visiting again when in the area. It looks like they have lots of room for expansion and are adding new exhibits all the time.
