This is an extremely clean, well maintained campground. Sites are level with concrete pad and patio and no shade. Back-in site was more than long enough for our 42 ft motorhome and toad. Large picnic tables and a barbecue pit are on every site. The utilities worked well except for the WiFi which was strong but very slow at times. The problem is that the campground is located right on a very busy road with a lot of trucks passing day and night. Road noise is a problem especially if you get a back-in site right against the road. Also there is no fence or any other barricade separating the road from the campground so people can just walk up to your site from the road. You have to enter the campground through the water park entrance. This is a bit of a pain when the lines get busy. Park noise is not a problem. Overall it is not a bad place to stay especially if you are going to the amusement and water parks on site.

Nice RV Park!

The RV park is located on the property of waterpark but you do not have to visit the waterpark if that is not in your plans. When entering they just wave you through to the RV park and when checking in they give you a parking pass so there are no parking fees while you are there. The RV park itself is very clean and well maintained. All services, water, cable and electric worked with no issues. The streets are wide and sites are level and there are very few trees that overhang any of the sites which makes getting a satellite service very easy. This is a RV park and not a campground as there are no tent sites and everything is either paved or concrete.

We went downtown a couple of times and it was about a 15 to 20 minute drive but very easy to get to.

This is a well-run park, with large spots separated by bushes. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It is right next to Worlds of Fun Amusement Park and Oceans of Fun water park.

The RV park is on a big hill, so every site has good views.

That's a lot of good for it.

What kept me from giving it a higher rating is the noise. I expect noise from the amusement parks, and that ends at closing time. What I didn't expect is the traffic noise from the industrial area up the street. During the week, this is a major truck route, and they start early in the morning, through rush hour. Then again at the evening rush hour it is constant truck noise.

I don't want to make this sound horrible, it just keeps it from being a 4 or 5 star RV park.

We were visiting friends in Kansas City and this was the closest campground that had availability and wasn't closed due to COVID. The office individual was VERY rude when we checked in and demanded everyone come inside to have their temperature checked before we were able to stay at the campground. All of the amenities of this campground were unavailable (pool, laundry, bathrooms) but we were still charged full price for our stay. Considering the location (right next to a major highway and directly next to an industrial area with a large amount of truck traffic) they have done a good job of making each site feel a bit isolated, but overall the only reason to stay in this campground is to be close to the amusement park.

We stayed at this campground for one night and we really enjoyed it. It’s clean and very nice however, our spot was located by a busy intersection so the traffic was pretty loudly. Would definitely stay here again.

Reservation was made by phone but a lot of information needed to be exchanged as well as a deposit. This park is next to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun but they were closed for the season so access was easy. Check in was easy as most of the info was exchanged on the phone. This park is very nice with good spacing and concrete pad sites. The sites are very long and can accommodate any sized rig. The width was great so even back in sites were easy to access. The wireless strength is top notch. Antenna receives all major networks. AT&T has 4 bars of 5G. The facilities include restrooms, showers, laundry, a pool and hot tub. The park is a short drive to most Kansas City attractions.

We really like this park and location because it is right off of I-435 and it was easy to get to.

Our stay began in late February and extended into March so the parks were closed and initially, there were very few campers in the village. Because of the freezing temperatures, the pull through sites were the only ones open as they were the only ones with blankets and heat tape around the water connections. It was great to have full hook-ups during the winter weather.

The park staff were friendly and all of the spaces in the park have level concrete pads with cedar bushes between each one to help break up the site-line to your next door neighbor. The park is on a hill so we were able to look out of the window at the freeway traffic which was close enough to see, but too far away for us to hear.

We work remotely using two different routers and carriers and enjoyed a good, strong signal with both.

For negatives, I don't have anything to report. The amusement parks were closed for the season so we did not hear any of the park noise mentioned by other reviewers. The industrial park across the street was active and while we heard some noise, it did not seem loud or excessive.

Would we stay here again? Yep, already scheduled. :-)

Very noisy truck traffic all night long. Even loud cars and motorcycles. It sounded like a race track outside. The park Is nice with clean rest rooms and showers. Expensive and just too noisy for us.

Just stayed one night. It’s an excellent rv park, very clean and level sites. So people say it’s noisy but I really didn’t notice. Inside I heard nothing from the road. It’s not a typical place I would stay but it was close to family I was visiting. If I was planning on visiting Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun, it would definitely be on my list.
