To be fair, I have very little patience for this type of thing. To be more specific, I have no issue with the belief in ghosts, but I find it absurd to assume a "waving leaf" is proof of spirits *cough wind. The tour guide wasn't the problem. I think he was generally interested in being honest, but therein lies the problem. Honesty, in the ghost hunting business, doesn't equal profits. After all, a lot of people come in gullible enough to believe a shaking leaf is proof of ghosts, and the tour guide, knowing business depends upon it, lets them believe it--even encourages it. I was told I need to keep an "open mind," but I can only take so much. The one positive: I learned a lot of Key West history.

I wouldn't necessarily call myself a "believer," but I thoroughly enjoyed the story-telling and intimate tour of some of the lesser-known places and stories in Key West. Plus, on the off-chance there are spirits, they conclude the tour with a nice cleanse to make sure nothing follows you home.
