Fox Manor Historic Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in Kingsport, Tennessee, nestled between the Appalachian/Great Smoky Mountains. Upon arrival, you will notice the original carriage steps used by passengers to disembark from their horse-drawn carriages. This is your first clue that you've arrived at a truly unique and historic inn. Built in the late 1800's, Fox Manor is one of Kingsport's oldest homes. Great care has been taken in the restoration to preserve its well-deserved place in local history. Your comfort is assured and your stay is welcomed at Fox Manor. You are invited to join us for afternoon refreshments at the authentic 300 year old English Pub Bar. This wonderful room is furnished with plush leather sofas, a big screen television and a 28 foot hand-painted wall mural. Each evening, our private Pub is open to our guests to enjoy good company and conversation in this cozy atmosphere. For those who prefer a quieter setting, the Parlor has a cozy fireplace and a large selection of books and magazines. There is a television with DVD/VCR, and a wonderful music system with surround sound.  Let the soft evening breezes and the warm glow of lantern light beckon you to the Veranda. Bring along a good book, curl up on the porch swing and let the gentle sounds of music surround you as your day fades to evening. The ceiling in the Dining Room was painted by a professional artist who captured both the design and color scheme in the fabrics and wall coverings. The vast china and teapot collection gathered on travels abroad is displayed in the built in cabinets. The dining room is quite formal yet lends itself to intimate and cozy dining before a glowing fire.  Breakfast is served in the dining room, but in pleasant weather, you may choose to dine on the veranda or patio. Before the rest of the world awakens, while the dew is still on the flowers, you may want to slip out to the Koi pond and have that first cup of coffee and hope that just for a little while, all is well with the world.
