The casino lets RVs park in their large lot. There are No Overnighting signs all over, but I guess the Casino doesn't care and the signs are not enforced. There were a lot of RVs there. Many were staying a very long time. Apparently they drop a lot of money in the casino, so I guess that makes the casino friendly to it.
There is a nice walk along the river that goes quite a way. Usually it's quiet at night in the parking lot. Rarely there is some excitement from a drunk guy creating a ruckus but there is security for the casino that takes care of it.
I though it was a good overnighter and I had the buffet breakfast at the Riverside. Basic food, nothing special. I really enjoyed a good long walk in the morning. If you head north on the walk you can cross the hwy on a walkway over the road and go all the way up to the lake. That was a great hike! Bike riding would be good.
I enjoyed myself there, got a good sleep and had some food and a nice walk. I would do it again.
I have a couple photos in my blog in the tab.
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way north. Was pretty quiet, very level, and of course it’s close to the casino
Don Laughlin does a great job of bringing good vibes to Laughlin. I love this casino. We really like to stay at the RV Park across the street with the good views but in a pinch a parking lot will do. I know people who stay their entire winter here. There’s great food and entertainment. I do not suggest the buffet but the cafe is wonderful for an inexpensive spot in the desert. Spaghetti was on point, if you enjoy and appreciate that sort of heart warming, home cooked cuisine. Feels like grandma’s house. I think my grandma likely gambled here and you should too. Walk the river walk at sunset. Quiet night to sleep. This is an excellent overnight spot that always welcomes me back to the great state of Nevada after a long trip elsewhere. Would totally recommend.
This place was packed when we were here in the beginning of April. It was like a RV mecca here. The Riverside Casino RV lot was almost totally full. Really big rigs couldn't find a spot. Not to worry though because there were other lots with plenty of room. It was a fairly nice spot for being a casino. There is the Colorado River right at the back of the lot, and the Riverwalk Trail that takes you to all the casinos. This is no Vegas Strip, more of a snowbird landing area.
Free,
Can’t complain about that. Laughlin RV park is across the street. Sites are 27.00
If you need hookups. Very RV friendly.
Free with parking lot security. That’s a win!
We stayed here one night. Definitely appreciated the space to stay, and proximity to amenities. We talked to some people that actually spend the winter here, that was a bit much for us. Lots of parking, security passes through from time to time. Would stay again.
It is a parking lot, not “Camping”, hence only 4 stars. If you plan on spending 1 or 2 nights, no need to check in with Security. But if staying longer, go to the “Group Registration Desk” in the south tower of main casino with Drivers license, RV Registration and proof of insurance. You must also get the players card if not already a member. You are allowed 14 nights but we were told that if we needed to stay longer, just come back to the desk and she would give us another pass!
Gotta love FREE!
Yep. It's a casino parking lot, with about 50 other RV's of every type and age lined up in one section. We spent one night here; Dec 10, 2020. A security guard approached us as we first pulled in and said that we did not need to register if only there for one or two nights. The Colorado River is just across the parking lot, and there is a nice sidewalk that runs along it for perhaps a quarter of a mile. That makes for a nice walk after being on the road. Of course, there is access to the casino, but we did not go in due to Covid caution. There are plenty of trash cans, and the area is clean. Although there were many RV's taking advantage of this free camp ground, the noise was not bad at all. We would certainly stay here again.
Really big lot off to the side of the casino. It was pretty busy but we didn’t have a problem finding a spot facing the direction we wanted to be. The lot was patrolled regularly with lights and trash cans throughout, generator quiet hours are enforced. Easy access to the river walk area for more restaurants and casinos. The Aquarius is our favorite stop on the walk; they have a sports book, and the Outback Steakhouse cooks a true medium rare to perfection. We used the dump station across the street for a reasonable fee ($10). We love the Riverside lot; easily our favorite in Laughlin. The auto museum upstairs at the hotel/ casino is worth a visit as well.
