“Home to the American Pickers”
Antique Archaeology is tucked away in the historic Mississippi River town of LeClaire, Iowa. It’s the birthplace of Buffalo Bill. The two-story former fabrication shop now houses our best picks, a new merchandise store, and serves as the home base for the American Pickers Show. Stop in and poke around. Break the ice and make us an offer. Lookie-loos are always welcome. Mon. - Friday: 10am - 5pm Saturday : 10am - 5pm Sunday: 12pm - 5pm Just over the I-80 Bridge and north of the Quad Cities. It’s easy to find, just ask any of the friendly locals.
We stopped by Antique Archeology while riding the Great River Road from MN to Venice, La in 2013. Fun to see the American Pickers home
Great! In boring IL now ....
Amazing to see the shop after watching the show, defiantly a neat little town also! Meet Mike when walking around the town!
Completed my 3rd trip there today. Well worth the trip. Even if the cast isn't there plenty of show artifacts are!! Enjoy ;)
Smaller than I envisioned but very interesting nonetheless. The little town is very quaint. Enjoyed our visit!
Good location, more antiques than the Nashville store, but still mostly souvenirs. We were there when Mike was but he left to do an interview before we got to get our picture and autograph, so that was a Lil disappointing. We walked outside his store as he walked away.
It was fun to see a lot of the items we've watched Mike & Frank buy on the show! Nice gift shop with very friendly ladies working it. This is worth stopping to see if you love American Pickers!
After watching the show, it was neat to visit the shops. Many of the picked items on display and the van was there too.
Great to see the stores after watching the show! The employees were all very nice and helpful!
Pretty awesome to see the stuff the guys picked up on their adventures. Great way for kids to learn more unique aspects of history.
