Wild Bean Restaurant

Roger and Heather Dolan opened the Wild Bean in May of 2006 with plenty of help from Roger's brother Melvin, his wife Margaret and both Roger and Heather's parents. With a focus on community and good fresh coffee the Wild Bean was an instant success. The "Bean" as many refer to her immediately became a favorite local hangout and meeting place. The Wild Bean has all the warmth and hospitality of a local community diner while at the sametime the vibe of a hip urban coffeeshop. Looking through the front windows you might see people eating, drinking, chatting, playing chess, reading a newspaper, using a laptop or any number of activities. Once you enter the doors you are greated with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods from the kitchen. Our coffee menu consists of organic, fairtrade, bird friendly and rain forest alliance selections. We use organic espresso from Mattie's Roastery, organic milk, high end grinders and espresso machine paired with our knowledgeable staff to create the best drinks around. In addition to our hot and iced espresso based drinks we have a selection of over 40 whole-leaf teas, fruit smoothies, tea lattes, iced teas and much much more.
