“The coolest coffee in Madison”
We opened Bradbury’s in the winter of 2008, three months after the birth of our daughter Ruby. We were challenged and inspired in the midst of a bleak Wisconsin winter by how to kick-off our menu, but thankfully there was more available than we could have thought: incredible meats, cheeses, mushrooms, the sweetest spinach we’ve ever had. In regards to coffee, we chose a roaster with similar values of sustainability, commitment to family, connection to the land, and some of our favorite moments have been experiencing coffee with them. Since we opened we have had the privilege of meeting many new friends, whether they are employees, farmers, customers, or neighbors, and everyone of them has shaped who we are

I reviewed this cafe 13 years ago, the food is still consistently excellent. Similar menu. I noticed a lot more families eating here than before when I was a hipster grad student. Read more
