Chickasaw Heritage Park

This large park contains two ceremonial mounds from the Chickasaw nation from centuries past. It boasts a beautiful sculpture: Legacies by Vinny Bagwell that celebrates Hispanic American, Native American and African American heritage in the Memphis Area. There is also a basketball court, restroom facility and water fountains. There are large spacious lawns and rolling hills. The exceptionally high ceremonial mound to the west of the park offers a splendid view of the Mississippi River.
