This is where Andrew Jackson and his troops fought the Battle of New Orleans, which was bloody and decisively ended the war of 1812. Closed due to damage suffered in Hurricane Katrina.
This battlefield represented the battle very well. Great experience seeing the field where over 2,000 British troops fell to our cannons and last great battle of the War. Great stop and do not miss this!
