“Come and share our loving kindness”
Sacred Chow provides organic, vegan, Kosher, and ethically produced foods for in-house and catering events. Gluten free desserts, brunch, proteins, and other gluten free food always available. Sacred Chow was born in 1995 as a deli in the far West Village of NYC due to the dearth of non-violent, heart-healthy, plant-based food options. Two weeks after opening, Florence Fabricant of the New York Times raved that Sacred Chow was created with "quite the agenda." She opined, "Not a hippy hang-out," but a "serious, unique, quite tasty, and flavorful cornecopia of organic, earth-friendly, plant-based, kosher delicacies, with an abundance of gluten-free, soy-free and sugar-free treats. Years later, with a high demand and large group of fans, Sacred Chow moved to our current location in Greenwich Village, where people can sit, dine, and enjoy our hand-made specialties.
