“The first authentic Hofbräuhaus in America”
Welcome to the first authentic Hofbräuhaus in America, modeled after the legendary 400+ year-old Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany! Guests are now able to enjoy many of the traditions from Germany that have made Hofbräuhaus famous. From the traditionally decorated rooms in the building to the beer that is brewed on-site, and of course the excellent German fare, Hofbräuhaus Newport is a memorable experience for all.
When what you need is a GIANT beer, Hoffbrauhaus is the place to go. It is great to have a taste of Oktoberfest year round, and its got some good German food.
Good place to go get some gigantic beers, and listen to some polka music. They even do the chicken dance! You can still smoke inside too. They do have a nonsmoking section, but it's just through large doors, there are no specialty doors or anything like that to keep the smoke out of the nonsmokers section.
Plenty of places to park within walking distance, including valet parking if interested. Go to the back to go outside on the patio area.
It's loud and the people here are usually in a pretty cheerful mood. If the oompah band is there, expect dancing on the tables. The beer is good, and you can get it in BIG ASS CUPS.
Had a lot of fun here with the family. Fantastic pretzels, Decent Wurst, and the fiestbier was one of the best I've had in a while. Atmosphere is fantastic, they had an accordian player, polka music, the works.
Love the dunkel and the apple strufle
Not in love with this place but the beer is great and they serve it in some pretty large proportions which I'm a fan of.
Always have a good time here. One of the best places in Northern Kentucky to go when it's nice out, and they have the patio open. Beers the size of your head, brewed on-site.
Pretty good spot to get some enormous beers. Never been too huge into the whole German thing but this place isn't too bad. I suggest sitting in the beer garden to avoid the cheesy polka music and chicken dances. The beer here isn't too bad either, I always go with the Hefeweizen although it does taste exactly like bananas.
I have never liked it here. It is always crowded with the worst kinds of people- but their beer and pretzels with cheese are OK- I guess.
