MWV Moose Bus Tours

For MWV Moose Bus Tours... 2016 is our 10th season providing a safe, informative, entertaining, and enjoyable night time MOOSE tour out of North Conway. Moose have been seen on nearly 1000 of our tours and owner/operator Elwyn Wheaton now has over 3000 hours experience driving at night in New Hampshire MOOSE country. So for the 2016 season it's again... Moose Movie - Moose Tour - Moose Fun ! We are 2013 and 2014 and 2015 Certificate of Excellence Winner from TripAdvisor. Ride along as we do a night time 3 1/2 hour MOOSE tour to seek, see, and view New Hampshire MOOSE. Departure time is not always 7:45PM throughout our partial schedule and so please when making your reservation confirm the time you are to meet the bus. To begin an informative movie about New Hampshire MOOSE is shown. All find it to be excellent. At some point there's a bathroom stop where snacks and refreshments are available too. We are able to seek and view MOOSE after dark because our MOOSE bus is allowed to use floodlights and spot lights to seek and see MOOSE at night. It's attempted to have this adventure enjoyable to MOOSE seekers of all ages, adults and children alike. Most will agree it is. With the movie over 2 hours of DVD entertainment is included. Between MOOSE "hot spots" some slideshows of MOOSE photos are played. One slideshow includes a few MOOSE tunes for kids. And added now is a slideshow with Shaw Brothers' song "New Hampshire Naturally" and only HD photos. All find it done well. Historically a success rate of over 96% is found. And last year our "streak" was seeing MOOSE 85 out of 88 Tours thru Labor Day weekend. Yes - 85 out of 88 ! Nice "streak" ! In the past this Tour has provided an average of 5+ MOOSE being seen every night and some nights even more MOOSE were seen. Not all tours offer photo opportunities yet our buses have windows that open when photo opportunities occur. We disembark the bus when ever possible, which happens the most in the summer. Please know the MOOSE we seek on this night time MOOSE Tour are wild animals and are unpredictable. We try our best in the time allowed. Again, last year MOOSE were seen 85 out of 88 nights thru Labor Day weekend ! Our success rate is darn good right thru September too! In October sightings have been tougher, yet that's when there might be a sighting of a Bull MOOSE with full grown antlers - which is exciting ! Our last night of seeing moose in 2015 was October 11th so last year had success right into Columbus Day weekend ! However, if no MOOSE is seen you're then invited to take the tour again "free of charge". Our social media page is updated regularly. To sum up, for every tour it's attempted for all aboard to have a safe, informative, entertaining, and enjoyable experience... and return saying "We saw MOOSE !".
