Oceanside Harbor

Located at the north end of Oceanside, Oceanside Harbor is San Diego County's north most harbor, 37 miles north of San Diego and 83 miles south of Los Angeles. The harbor has two sections: The southern section has a small commercial fishing fleet, sportsfishing, and watersports rentals. Helgren's Sportsfishing, located at Harbor Village, has daily charters and rentals. The north section has a marina with slips for recreational boaters. In all, Oceanside Harbor has over 900 permanent slips with an average occupancy rate of over 90 percent. In addition, three yacht brokers provide boat sales, chandlery, maintenance, repair, charters and sailing instruction. The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Point Hobart is based in the harbor. Oceanside Harbor has much to offer the 200,000 people who visit each year. For the recreational boater and sportfisher, there is a fuel dock, four lane launch ramp, bait receiver, slip rentals including electricity, water and newly reconstructed service buildings containing restrooms, showers, laundry facilities and coin operated water dispensing machines.
