Salt Rock Coffee has been an independent coffee retailer since June 2007. Salt Rock originated from an explosive combination of ambition and circumstance. Several years ago, Kyle and Holly Hill had what would prove to be a life changing coffee experience while traveling in Italy. The love affair with great coffees had begun.Located at the corner of 12th Street and Washington Blvd in the heart of Ogden City, Salt Rock Coffee has been a staple of the community for over 6 years.Offering extended hours 7 days a week and a variety of breakfast foods, and sandwiches all day long, the Salt Rock boasts many regular customers who have become like members of the family. They enjoy a casual atmosphere inside or out with free Wi-Fi, live music, and a friendly, outgoing staff who often greet them with their order already prepared. We opened in June 2007 on 17th and Washington Blvd in Ogden. After nine months we relocated to 20th and Lincoln which became a local venue spot opened for events only. We remained here for the next eighteen months. We moved once again to 270 12th Street in Ogden with an opportunity to be opened full time and be community driven in February 2010.We serve Lavazza Coffees and Espresso. Lavazza has existed since the early 1900’s when Luigi Lavazza first invented the concept of the blend, the art of mixing coffee of different origins to obtain a harmonious and tasty product. Today Lavazza is the leader when it comes to quality and is the symbol of Italian espresso and Italian identity worldwide.
