“50-acre botanical garden”
Harry P. Leu Gardens is an amazing 50-acre botanical oasis designed specifically to inspire visitors to appreciate and understand plants. The Leu House Museum located in the heart of the gardens reveals turn-of-the century living for the families who once called this home. The gardens and historical home were donated to the City of Orlando in 1961 by Mr. Harry P. Leu and his wife, Mary Jane.
The plant oasis! Harry P. Leu Gardens is tucked within busy Orlando. Extremely relaxing, as if it does not belong there! When you enter it you barely understand it is human-made.
Very educational for the kids and myself! All the questions were answered about the history of the place!
I am very glad I had the chance to visit! Will recommend it to family members-plant lovers!
Absolutely loved the gardens! Allot of varieties of plants, some we haven't seen before. Butterflies, birds, squirrels, and rabbits throughout. Three hours and didn't see it all because it was so much to see.
Leu Gardens is a beautiful, relaxing outdoor oasis located right near downtown Orlando. It is 50 acres in total, and features a few different gardens that aim to educate its visitors on the different species of plants and how to appreciate them.
It's beautiful and a must-visit! We think it's one of the best places to visit during an adults-only visit to Orlando!
Gorgeous gardens and very reasonable entry price $10 adult.
