“Attractions & Culture in MS”
Welcome to INFINITY Science Center, a NASA Visitors Center. INFINITY is a state-of-the-art science center where fun meets fascinating. Come explore the farthest reaches of outer space, the uncharted depths of the oceans and the varied layers of the Earth. From the moment you arrive at INFINITY, you will be caught up in the excitement of discovery. Artifacts, such as rockets and rocket engines, located around the courtyard signal the authenticity of the museum. Entering the building is like being transported to another world. Vibrant, dynamic displays show the latest science news and live data. The INFINITY Cafe and Odyssey Gift Shop bustle with activity. Your ticket price includes a free bus tour of NASA Stennis Space Center. Bus tours are on a first come, first serve basis.
I have to say, I was completely disappointed in this and so were my kids. :( Several displays were not working and there weren't that many there in the first place. They did, after we asked with wide eyes if that was ALL there was to the center, have a couple of people come out and interact with the kids and did ~an~ experiment... because the equipment for the second one didn't work. It was really a waste for the money. If it had been free it still would have only gotten three stars. I gave it two ONLY because they made a real effort with the kids after we complained. :(
