Pigeon Forge's newest retail and entertainment center in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Eat. Shop. Play. Stay.
October 2017: lots of shops and water fountain with music also some rides. Worth a stop.
Make sure you catch the fountain dancing! The kids loved that! Bring the $$ everything is a cost and the kids will want a ton and the big kids will love the moonshine distillery! Pretty hard to miss it if you're in Pigeon Forge! Nice to have a few meals that although are chains aren't the tiny fast foods of the strip. Allergies families beware, Paula Deens is peanut oil all the way!!
The Island has so many shops, restaurants, and attractions that hours can be spent. If you get tired, there is a rest area with rocking chairs and a water (and lights at night) display. Every time I have visited each individual area of the Island seemed fun. Personally, I best enjoy the rest area and rocking chairs, the Big Rock Candy Kitchen, and Emery's Five and Dime. A good place to take the whole family.
Wonderful place to spend hours. I love the dancing waters, The Wheel, the puzzle shop, Paula Deens, Margaritaville, Big Rock Candy shop, and lots of others. Some a little pricey.
