“everything you need to enjoy yourself”
Welcome to Shadow Mountain located approximately 15 miles west of Port Angeles, and one mile from the Olympic National Park's Lake Crescent, on Washington State's Olympic Peninsula. Shadow Mountain is a full service outpost providing the traveler with a centrally located Campground, RV Park, General Store and Fueling facility. The park consists of 40 full hookup sites terraced upon a hillside overlooking the beautiful Mt. Baldy, Storm King and Baldy Ridge. Each site is 30 feet in width to accommodate all slide-outs and range in length from 30 to 50 feet. Utilities include 30 Amp or 50 Amp electrical service, water and sewer. You will find picnic tables and campfire rings on all sites. For those who enjoy tenting, there are a number of grassy sites with fire pits, picnic tables and a common sink area for your potable water needs and washing dishes. Shadow Mountain's General Store offers you a full supply of goods and services to meet your every need. Canned goods, fresh bread, milk, fruit and vegetables line the shelves. From pop, beer, ice and drinking water to household goods such as light bulbs and shoelaces, if we don't have it, ask. There is a large selection of RV accessories along with fishing gear and bait. In the gift section you will find everything from postcards, key chains and magnets to unique shirts, hats and local crafts. If you find yourself wanting a fast snack to a take-out meal, the Deli at Shadow Mountain will meet your needs. From the double pattied "Big Foot Burger" to our Fish & Chips, all items are cooked while you wait and sure to please. Or enjoy a cone from our 8 flavors of ice cream as part of your after meal walk. Mornings will brighten up with a drink from our espresso bar and a breakfast sandwich. Of course we offer all grades of Texaco fuel, diesel and propane to keep your vehicle or RV running.

Must admit blown away by how friendly the new owners were. All the hookups worked just fine. My dog felt comfortable and safe. Perfect place to camp along the stars. Reservation was correct. Staff was friendly and efficient. Sites are tight. There are trees that provide a visual break between rows but neighbors are very close. Sites are assigned based on the length of your rig. Tow vehicle is parked perpendicular to trailer. Still took up some of the roadway but thankfully there wasn't a lot of traffic. The park provided us access to trails we wanted to explore. We camped at Shadow Mountain Campground RV Park in a Travel Trailer. If you love the outdoors like Hurricane Ridge this is the place to be. It’s also great to go to craft shows too. Campground was just perfect super accessible. Bonus points for the kind new owners. It makes such a huge difference when folks are friendly especially when you are not familiar with the area. You will want to stay here to cook s’mores and sit under the stars.
Located in a beautiful part of Highway 101 with a Texaco gas station up front. Spots are spacious and the entire park is clean, quiet and very accessible.
