I have stayed there twice. The second time, I was on extended stay due to the Corona Virus. There are quite a few permanent residences in the park. The park is well kept. The pool is small, but nice. The people are friendly in the front office and throughout the park. The roads and sites are well kept. It is only a few minutes to Daytona Beach. Shopping within a mile. Lots of things to do in the area. There is a freight train line that runs next to the campground. I would recommend this place!

The location is great and staff as well as residents are friendly. However, there are many run down permanent sites. Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach are both very close.

This campground had no additional fees with my Thousand Trails package.

Staff pleasant during check in. Given both a map and a magazine about the area. Mixture of RVs and mobile homes in this park. Many appear to be long term. Some of the long term sites and trailers looked pretty rough, but never felt unsafe. Other campers & residents we met were all nice.

Site 97 was a large corner back in spot. Another RV could’ve parked and had an OK size patio on our non camp side. Water and sewer were on the appropriate side. Electrical hook up was on camp side, but electrical cord was plenty long enough. Hook ups worked well. Site was grass, and a little soft in some areas. Picnic table provided.

Yes, there was a train track near by. I did hear it sometimes, but it wasn’t very frequent. For sleeping I used a fan for white noise. Occasionally the RV felt like it did shake when some trains went by. The shaking was less than the shaking I feel when my washer is on the spin cycle in the RV.

Verizon signal was adequate for texting, searching the internet, and streaming videos. The location was great. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We have a Thouisand Trails membership with Trails, so we got the no added cost stay. We had a site just before the water inlet. Lots of seasonal/annual sites. The 2-3 sites next to us seemed unusable with the electric box mangled. It seemed pretty quiet for such a big park, though we did see a few folks out and about.

The pictures look great on Thousand Trails, but they put us in site 29 which was right next to the railroad tracks and this is a very active railroad. It would run every 2-3 hours in the day, even at night. Many of the bushes and the trees are overgrown, many trailers are old and worn, and it looks like it has been there for a long time. We made the best of it on the back side where we were staying. There are other sites that were much nicer, but you probably had to be staying for many months and book way ahead of time to get those. We would not come back here, but it was only $0.00 with our Thousand Trails membership so who am I to complain. :)
