“the cheers of Portland”
Welcome to Rosie’s Restaurant & Pub in the historical Boothby Square of the Old Port. Steve & Rosie purchased Rosie’s in 1987 with the desire of making a relaxing neighborhood pub for locals and tourists to gather and enjoy great food and drinks at reasonable prices. It is a classic neighborhood tavern with brick walls, comfortable high back stools, televisions within view, and music that you don’t even notice. Rosie’s is more than what meets the eye. High on standards and low on pretence makes for a great meal out. The bartenders are seasoned and friendly and there is never to much noise to talk over.We have 15 Taps; 7 are Micro Brews.Try our House Brews known as Hooker Pale & Hooker Brown Ale.Rosie’s was listed in Esquire Magazine as one of the Top 100 bars in the U.S.Over the years we have won local awards for Best Burger, Best Lunch, and Best Neighborhood Bar in the Old Port.We have the honor of being called “The Cheers of Portland” by our devoted regulars.Thank you for visiting our web site, we look forward to seeing you soon!
