Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on March 17, 2023For our last night in Quarzsite we decided to stay in an RV park to refresh our tanks and use the facilities. We chose The Scenic Road RV park for our stay. This is a nice little park right opposite the RV Pitstop where you can get water, dump your tanks and fill your LP tanks. We had used it to get some water when we were staying at Plumosa Rd. The owner of the park Jeff was very friendly and helpful. He showed us to our site, helped us with an extra pair of eyes while we were parking and even greeted Eva our kitty. The facilities were nice and clean. Even their laundry philosophy jived with ours. They had signs in the laundry asking people to be present when their laundry is done so others have a chance to use the facility. It even said that if you are not there that you should expect that others may have moved your clothes out of the machine in order to access it. If any of you read this post you will know why this matters to us. Although it is right on the main drag the noise was never a factor. The sites have a concrete pad, 30 or 50 Amp service, water and sewer, all of which were in pristine condition. I am sometimes shocked at the condition that I find electric pedestals or water spigots in. Here I was pleasantly surprised and it shows the owners have pride in their place and keep it in good shape. As we were getting ready to leave Jeff came by to make sure everything went according to our expectations and welcomed us back whenever we were passing through. All in all it was a very nice experience and The Scenic Road RV Park gets a thumbs up from us!

We have stayed in a couple parks in Q and this is the one we'll continue to use.
Nothing fancy, but everything is done well. Utilities work great, sites are level and wide. Jeff is very helpful, both for the park and the surrounding area. He clearly takes pride in his hometown.
You cannot receive mail at this park - use General Delivery at the post office instead.
Passport America is excepted for two nights, but you have to ask for it, it isn't offered as an option when you check in.
Access from Hwy 95 is easy, even at night with the well-lit entrance (appreciated on dark desert nights!). We had zero road noise at night.
WiFi worked well.
A dry creekbed is lit up at night (subtle and pretty, not bright and annoying).
We really like this park.

We were on our way to California when our "check engine" came on just as we approached Quartzsite.
As it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving the shop would not have our part until Monday morning.
My wife had walked to The Scenic Road RV Park and checked out the availability of a site. We pulled our fifth wheel over and Jeff guided us into a spot.
As the other reviews have said, level sites, newer utility hookups and close to everything.
They had a potluck dinner for Thanksgiving that we joined, movie night on Friday and Bingo too.
We've been through Quartzsite many time but this was the first extended stay. There are really several good restaurants and other things to do.
They do now take credit cards, Good Sam, Escapes and FMCA discounts.

We wanted to visit Quartzsite and boondock for a couple of days just to check it out, but weather forecast was clouds and rain. We use solar and wanted to avoid the mud, so we chose this RV Park instead.
Check in was a little slow, only one person and he escorted you to your sites if you wanted. He was very nice and accommodating, we were originally assigned a spot that would have interfered with our satellite, so he moved us.
This is a pretty typical Arizona park, gravel and not a lot of trees or other plants. The layout is a little unusual, but we didn’t feel overly crowded. There is only one restroom each for men and women, and they contain the shower. We use the bathroom in our rig, so this wasn’t a problem, but if you don’t be aware that you may not be able to get in when you want.
This park is obviously in the desert and water is an issue. They prohibit you from using the washer in your RV, I believe this is the first time I’ve seen that. They do have a pet and vehicle washing area for a fee.
If you want full hookups, this is a nice choice. The layout was a little strange, but overall it was a positive experience.

Spent the night after a few weeks out boondocking. Great place to reset. Nice and quiet. Great facilities and great staff. Definitely will be the place I stay next time I am out this way.

very reasonable travel rv park. small laundry, car wash station$, easy city market access. basic park good place to spend the night or a week. I don't like all the extra stuff that RV resorts have and charge extra for and these folks meet that need. Street is a little noisee but not important. great place to stay. paid for the week for a hefty discount. I paid cash.

Big rig friendly, FHU, Laundry, propane across the road
We liked our stay here. The staff were great and the park is nice. Can’t bet the price!
Only negative was the water quality was not good. Very hard and dirty at times.
Would stay again.

Was here in early April which is considered "off-season", however, the rate was still the same many other campers reduced their prices. However, I did have Passport America and I got 50%.
There is one shower available for both sexes!!! I was told the water was quite hot. I used my camper's shower!!!
The campground is close to the main road and there is quite of bit of continuous noise.
I believe there are better campgrounds in the vicinity of Quartzsite and not close to the main road

We paid for a full-hookup spot here for one week while we were testing things with our solar panels. The community was labeled at 55+ but gave us no problem with staying there which was great because they had a good weekly rate for full-hookups. Sites all close together but still nice with good facilities and a paved slab next to each spot for chairs, tables, etc. on the nicer side versus some others in the area with easy access to everything nearby.

The manager (owner?) in the office was helpful and pleasant. The park is entirely gravel except for the concrete slabs serving as patios, this is good because in this climate it could have been quite dusty otherwise. The laundry room was well maintained and included outdoor clothesline’s with provided clothespins for those who preferred not to use the dryers. The only downside was that is it along the very busy road to Parker and the cars, rvs and large trucks go by very fast sounding like short intense thunderstorms. It becomes more intermittent after 10 pm, but starts up again with a vengeance at 5 am or earlier. Not for the light sleeper. The provided wifi is unsecured and no where near as fast or reliable as my Verizon hotspot. $50/night is the weekly rate in January.
