“19th century carriages, buggy’s, wagons and historical artifacts”
Welcome…….History abounds at the Northwest Carriage Museum in Raymond, Washington. Come visit one of the finest collections of 19th century carriages, buggy’s, wagons and historical artifacts in the country. Our museum is family friendly, educational, historical and a great place for individuals or group tours. We encourage you to explore our website! The Northwest Carriage Museum opened its doors in 2002 as a result of a very generous donation of restored 19th century horse drawn vehicles from local residents Gary and Cec Dennis. Their interest in this era of transportation history inspired them to purchase and restore several magnificent vehicles to their former elegance. A dream of sharing their collection with the public led the Dennis’ to donate their carriages to the City of Raymond in 1999. Through the efforts of many people, their dream became reality when the museum opened for business in 2002.
Great family museum with reasonable admission fees for families.
Original carriages and stage coaches, some used in movies. Very nicely done and worth the stop. Easy to spend 30 min or an hour reading and enjoying the history. Very nice administrator with great knowledge of the individual pieces and their histories.
Great stop .
