“the most unique restaurant this side of The Orient Express!”
Great American food made from scratch and served in the most unique restaurant this side of The Orient Express! Dine aboard our 1920's styled train car or in our travel-themed full service restaurant. Train car available for reservations for private parties and meetings. Selected into the 2013 Alabama Tourism's "100 Dishes To Eat In Alabama Before You Die." KEEP THOSE WHEELS TURNING You are fast. The fastest there ever was, some folks say. Maybe the fastest there ever will be. They say those things for a reason: because they are true. You are the fastest, and you do not mind showing the world what you have got. And so it is that you find yourself atop a pair of hot steel rails, raising ahead at full throttle, the countryside a blur, the wind as loud as thunder... And it happens so quickly that you will never piece together exactly what caused it. One moment you are moving so fast that nothing in this world could stop you, and the next, you have crashed into the side of an Alabama truck stop.
THIS IS THE COOLEST PLACE EVERRR!! It is right off the highway, connected to a gas station but don’t let that turn you off. It is SUCH a cool atmosphere, especially for kids. We had a group of 9 and were seated immediately. The service was great, very friendly and attentive. The FOOD was amazing! Try the pecan pie cheesecake for desert, even if you’re stuffed. We spilt it among the 9 of us just try and it was SO good! If I could give more stars I would. 👍🏼👍🏼
Cute little diner. Lots of things to look at while you eat. Different than any regular old fast food joint on your drive through the area. Photo op!
We had the pecan cheese cake, it was rich but delicious
cool decor but the food was mediocre. We had the chicken and dumplings (very heavily salted) and "philly" cheese steak po boy (alright but small) french fries and corn bread were good but mashed potatoes tasted strongy of butter
loved the decor and the food! worth the stop!!:)
This is the cutest place to stop!! The area is a little shady but once inside the restaurant you really feel like you are sitting inside a train car!! Great for kids!
Currently closed due to staffing issues. See photo.
Interesting stop. Don’t order the impossible burger. It’s not what it says, it’s a weird black bean patty and falls apart so it’s “impossible” to eat.
I wish I had more time to spend there. Just the cutest place ever. And the mushroom swiss burger was the best I ever had!!
Very cool! The food is great, definitely get desert!! On a road trip with 5 adults and 5 kids and everyone loved it! The decor and atmosphere is unique and lots of interesting things to look at. It wasn’t busy at all so we were able to check out the displays in all the table tops! The truck stop is a great stop as well.
