“Interactive exhibits with Native Californians”
The Maidu Museum & Historic Site offers a unique cultural haven for families and individuals who want to experience the life ways and culture of the Nisenan Maidu who called this location home for thousands of years. The Museum Gift Shop offers a wide selection of books about Native Californians and their way of life-past and present. We also offer jewelry by local artisans, minerals, arrowheads, other cultural artifacts and many nature-related items.
